Allied Gold (“Allied”) has released an update on the Phase 1 expansion at the Sadiola mine in Mali. The Phase 1 expansion is focused on increasing production through multiple routes, including the processing of fresh ore through a comminution circuit which has now been installed. This circuit increases the proportion of fresh ore in the ore feed from ~20% to ~60%, with an expected throughput of 5.7Mtpa.
