- DX Group (DX.): The deliveries group, which provides parcel freight, secure, courier and logistics services, has successfully completed the heavy-lifting elements of its Business Turnaround Plan. The highly capable management team, which has a proven track record in turnarounds, is now focused on sales and operational improvements, supported by a major investment programme. Analysts expect DX to return to pre-tax profit in the current financial year and a net cash position is in sight. Broker, finnCap, has a share price target of 18p and expect ongoing growth into 2022 to support a 30p target.
- Open Orphan (ORPH):
Open Orphan was founded in 2017, with the goal of rapidly building Europe’s leading pharma services company by a management team with extensive industry and financial expertise. The company comprises of two commercial specialist CRO services businesses (Venn Life Sciences and hVIVO) and is also developing a genomics data platform business (Genomic Health Data). In June 2019 Open Orphan acquired AIM-listed Venn Life Sciences plc in a reverse take-over and in January 2020 completed a merger with hVIVO plc.Open Orphan (ORPH) is quoted on both the AIM and Euronext Growth market.
- President Energy (PPC):
President Energy is an independent oil and gas company focusing primarily on high margin production opportunities in Latin America. The portfolio consists of a balance of high margin production primarily in Argentina with additional production in Louisiana. In addition, there is further significant exploration and development opportunities through our acreage in Paraguay and Argentina. - Mark Simpson: is a UK-based small-cap value investor and author. His book Excellent Investing is a practical guide for committed stock-pickers; enabling them to maximise the return from their skill, avoid common investment mistakes and build winning portfolios. Mark will present the three biggest mistakes that even smart investors make, and how to overcome them.
