Whitman Howard becomes the latest Research Tree partner and provider

Whitman Howard has joined Research Tree as its latest equity research partner.

Following the addition of Whitman, private investors will now have access to equity research from c.29 corporate broking houses and independents.

Whitman Howard is one of London's newest independent institutional stockbrokers, founded in 2011 with the aim of providing a broad range of fundraising and advisory services to corporate clients and small entrepreneurial private businesses.

"We aim to be the bridge between smart capital and small to medium sized growth companies, both public and private, seeking development capital."

Whitman's equity research team covers companies in a wide variety of sectors, including Consumer Goods, Mining, Life Sciences, Technology, and Utilities.

Ranald McGregor-Smith, Head of Corporate at Whitman Howard, commented:

“Quality research is at the heart of Whitman Howard’s offering and it is highly valued by both our corporate and institutional clients. We are very conscious of both the need to distribute our research as widely as possible, and also maintaining the correct regulatory infrastructure through which to do so. We are delighted to partner with Research Tree, which will provide us with access to a growing and engaged network of investors. We expect this partnership to be of value to both our clients and those of Research Tree.”

Speaking about Whitman joining Research Tree, our CEO Rob Mundy said:

"We're delighted to kick off 2017 by welcoming Whitman Howard to the platform. Its experienced team offers broad coverage off many sectors and will add considerable value to our users. The high-quality research team brings expert and insightful analysis to a broad coverage of UK companies.

By providing private investors with access to the latest equity research, we can help level the playing field and improve awareness and access to content for all shareholders, thereby supporting liquidity, particularly at the smaller end of the market cap scale."
