Sipa’s exploration activities are focussed on two areas – the Kitgum Pader Project in northern Uganda, and the recently acquired Paterson North Project in Western Australia. The Company was first mover at Kitgum Pader, and since commencing exploration in 2012 has made two key greenfields discoveries – the Akelikongo intrusive hosted Ni-Cu and Pamwa Broken Hill-style Pb-Zn-Ag prospects in a region that has seen no previous exploration. The Paterson North Project is located immediately north of Antipa Minerals’ Citadel Project, and 120km north of the Telfer Gold Mine. The project covers areas of similar geology, with previous broad spaced aircore drilling returning anomalous gold and copper.
