Panmure Morning Note 15-07-15
15 Jul 15
Kirkland Lake Gold has announced new three year production guidance for the (now calendar) years ending 2016, 2017 and 2018 which sees production rise to 170-190koz in 2018. Whilst the market should welcome the continued growth in production beyond the previous three year guidance period (ending April 2017) the relatively modest scale of future increase may disappoint – indeed we had previously expected production to rise to over 200koz per annum longer term but volumes have now been kept to under 1,150tpd even longer term.
Panmure Research - Kirkland Lake Gold Flash 09-07-15

Kirkland Lake has reported full year PBT slightly below our expectations on slightly higher than forecast cash costs, but EPS above our forecast as a result of lower than expected tax. The big picture is that the company met all of its guidance metrics for the full year and was both profitable and cash flow generative in FY15. That provides a solid base for Kirkland Lake to increase earnings as production increases over the next two years.

The Slide Rule
12 Jan 17
What is The Slide Rule? The Slide Rule has been designed to dramatically simplify the identification of the best companies in the UK small/mid-cap sector by making a quantitative assessment of the relative potential of each company. At its core, The Slide Rule aims to identify those companies that create genuine shareholder value through strong returns on capital and solid growth, but also present a value opportunity with the potential tailwind of earnings momentum. Companies are assessed within a Quality, Value, Growth and Momentum (QVGM) framework.
