The Chinese Jin Jiang announced today that it has raised its stake in Accor from 5.5% in early February to 11.7% today. Rubyrock and Gold Capital (both controlled by Jin Jiang) now hold a combined 10.2% of voting rights in AccorHotels and do not rule out to be seeking board seats. AccorHotels commented in the press that it would consider any request for board representation.
