The takeover offer from Midea opened on 16th June and will end on 15th July with an additional extension to 3rd August. Midea is offering €115 per share. The deal will be financed by additional credit facilities of around €4bn provided by the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. The facilities will mature in April 2017. The interest rate is 0.65%.
