Rising delivery volumes combined with higher sales prices (except for passenger cars, where the ASP was down by about 1%) have allowed the group to increase revenue by 18% to almost €72bn in H1 15. Improved capacity utilisation plus the above resulted in an EBIT increase of 36% to €6.6bn and a net profit increase of 35% to a good €4.2bn. We had anticipated EBIT and net earnings of just above €6bn and of more than €4.3bn respectively.
