FuM +3% driven by investment performance, marginal inflows
City of London Investment Group (“CLIG”) grew FuM by 3% during Q3. There were some marginal net inflows from new investment. The key driver of FuM growth was investment performance. Whilst positive, investment performance lagged the group’s key benchmark by c.3% as discounts on closed-end funds widened and increased exposure to Small Cap (via closed end funds) weighed on performance.
