Invinity Energy Systems (IES LN) has announced the sale of 1.5MWh of Vanadium Flow Batteries (VFB’s) to South Korea based Hyosung Heavy Industries. The battery system, is to be evaluated by Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), South Korea’s national electricity utility. IES entered into commercial partnership with Hyosung Heavy Industries in April 2022 and this is the first IES sale under the partnership.
