Xaar has given an update on trading, which has missed management’s expectations for the final months of 2018. This has been driven primarily by continued declines in sales into its legacy ceramics end market, but also slower than expected adoption of the 1201 printhead. Revenues for 2018 are now expected to be c.£64m, c.£1.5m below our £65.5m forecast, however gross margin has also been impacted by a negative mix effect.
