WMH this morning announced that it is disposing of its Australian business, due to the credit betting ban and the likely introduction of a POC tax in a number of Australian states. CrownBet a subsidiary owned by The Stars Group will acquire WMH’s Australian business for an enterprise value of A$300m (£170m) and completion is subject to regulatory approval.
