Flowtech has announced a good set of interim results with revenue increasing 24.6% driven by the acquisition of Primary Fluid Power. This results in an underlying improvement in operating profit of 3.8% with additional costs and exchange rate movements off setting what has been a good performance in the core UK distribution business. This needs to be put into the context of the difficult trading period for industrial distributors in the UK with several listed peers reporting negative growth.
