Egdon Resources has announced that, as operator or the Wressle oil field, it has received consent from the North Lincolnshire Council, under relevant regulations, allowing for the full use of the installed oil storage capacity of circa 2,000 barrels at the Wressle site. This will enable full production to be realised following the planned proppant squeeze. The Wressle field is expected to produce at an initial rate of 500 b/d gross, of which 150 b/d will be net to Egdon Resources' 30% interest.
