SDX Energy (LON:SDX) has started production at its South Disouq concession in Egypt. Each of the four discovery wells have been hooked up with production running as expected, which the firm says should eventually should lead to a material increase to cashflows.
UKOG (LON:UKOG) and partner Alba Minerals (LON:ALBA) have completed the drilling of the Portland horizontal drilling campaign at Horse Hill. A total of approximately 2,500 ft was drilled within the Portland reservoir's most oil productive zone or "sweet spot".

Vodafone (LON:VOD) posted a €1.9 billion half year loss due to its regulatory issues in India. Revenues have started to grow again however, led by improvements in South Africa, Spain and Italy and underlying profit guidance was tweaked upwards.
