Tech in Focus with Richard Jeans

Proactive London's Richard Jeans talks through some of the big movers for the tech stock this week.

With tech stocks outperforming during the pandemic, most firms have lagged this week as investors have chased sectors that have languished during the pandemic such as mining and oil, financial services and hotels and leisure.

Richard says in software large caps, Learning Technologies and Micro Focus are the winners, both up over 15% on the week. His highlight of the week is cap IT managed services, cloud services businesses.

Iomart, Redcentric, Adept and SysGroup have all reported results in recent weeks. Reporting is winding down as we approach Christmas. Next week, in the UK we have a September half year results from IMImobile, GB Group and Solid State. In the US, software majors Adobe and Oracle reports earnings on Thursday.
