Handelsbanken delivered good results in Q1 22, although this was due in considerable part to non-recurring elements. Excluding the non-recurring element, top-line growth was supported by strong growth in NII and fees. No provisions for credit losses were recorded. Despite an increase in exposure amounts, Handelsbanken remained overcapitalised. Management did not give any update regarding the ongoing sale of the Danish and Finnish businesses.
