Metro released Q1 15/16 results. Revenue numbers were already made public on 12 January and essentially showed flat sales (+0.1%) to €17.1bn on a lfl basis. EBITDA reached €1,048m (-6.6%), EBIT before special items €828m (-7.2%), EBIT €1,240m (+41.6%) and the net result €367m (-17.5%). Net debt at the end of Q1 amounted to a mere €0.1bn. On the profit side, note Q1 includes the disposal of C&C Vietnam (€427m).
