Artemis Resources makes hard rock lithium discovery

Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV, AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) executive director George Ventouras joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio discuss the company’s hard rock lithium discovery, with the best rock chip samples providing results of 1.82%, 1.62% and 0.78% lithium oxide, respectively. Ventouras described the discovery as significant and drew parallels with Azure Mineral’s Andover project directly to the east, which has an exploration target of between 100 and 240 million tonnes of lithium, grading between 1 and 1.5% lithium oxide. The company is looking at a potential lithium corridor extension beyond 40 kilometres in the west Pilbara region. Finally, Ventouris discusses the next steps with the new discovery as well as ongoing work at the Carlow Castle gold-copper-cobalt project.
