Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV, AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) Executive Director George Ventouras, joins Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with news of an independent technical review at its Paterson Gold Project, which identified a new gold target for exploration.
Ventouras noted that the project is notably close to the Greatland Gold-Newmont Gold joint venture, Havieron, and features promising results with nearly 5% copper and 1.73 grams per tonne of gold from initial drilling. Located only 40 kilometres from the Telfer mine, it presents significant exploration upside.
Artemis is exploring options to advance the project, including potential joint ventures or third-party funding, given the greenfield nature of the exploration.
Additionally, Ventouras highlighted the potential for lithium exploration in the West Pilbara region, particularly at the newly discovered Mt Marie prospect. This prospect is adjacent to their joint venture with Green Tech Metals at the Osborne project. Initial findings include 1.8% lithium oxide and large spodumene crystals. The company plans further ground reconnaissance to determine the extent of lithium mineralisation.
Over the next few months, Artemis will conduct drone surveys to identify prospective pegmatite outcrops for sampling and exploration. These efforts aim to delineate the mineralisation extent and prepare for future drilling programmes in both gold and lithium prospects.
