£1.5m purchase order strengthens Journeo's transport systems portfolio

Journeo plc (AIM: JNEO), a leading provider of intelligent systems for transport networks and critical national infrastructure, is pleased to announce the receipt of a purchase order valued at £1.5 million from a Northern Transport Partnership.

The purchase order comprises the supply and installation of Journeo's latest high-definition TFT displays and ultra-low power ePaper displays, which will enhance the region's real-time passenger information estate. TFT displays will be deployed at powered in-shelter locations, while the ultra-low power ePaper displays, operating exclusively on renewable energy sources with battery back-up will be installed at locations without existing power provision.

All displays will be integrated into the Group's SaaS-based Journeo Portal, enabling advanced content management, the distribution of scheduled and real-time departure information, and decision-critical disruption messaging. This will provide passengers with improved access to reliable, up-to-date information across inter-urban and rural routes, supporting higher levels of satisfaction across the network.

This contract represents a significant milestone in Journeo's expansion of its advanced transport display technology portfolio and further strengthens the Group's market position in delivering sustainable, innovative solutions to the UK public transport sector.

Russ Singleton, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"We are pleased to extend our relationship with this forward-thinking transport partnership, whose continued investment in real-time passenger information supports greater use of public transport and rising passenger satisfaction. Notably, nearly 40% of this order is for our ultra-low power displays, highlighting the authority's commitment to Carbon Net Zero while ensuring reliable, high-quality information delivery. Journeo remains focused on enabling smarter, greener travel and driving the adoption of sustainable technologies across the UK transport network".
