The acquisition strategically aligns the Company with GATE Token holders and positions GATE as a cornerstone of Valereum's broader tokenisation and platform strategy.
By embedding GATE within the ecosystem, its benefits are expected to extend beyond being a treasury asset, by becoming the utility backbone of Valereum's regulated tokenisation marketplace. As we continue to build the ecosystem, we plan to integrate new features, enhancing the utility and value of the GATE Token, and driving widespread adoption and engagement. This lays the foundation for future use cases tied to asset onboarding, access rights, and utility. The move demonstrates the Board's intentions to increase value for the Company and token holders, while strengthening alignment across issuers, investors, and technology partners. This acquisition of GATE Tokens is pursuant to an agreement which Valereum entered into prior to the effective date of the Aquis framework for issuers pursuing cryptocurrency strategies.
