UP Global Sourcing (UPGS) is one of the Zeus Capital Top Picks for 2021, analyst Mike Allen notes that its rating is relatively modest and it offers an attractive yield. On this day the company will be announcing its Q1 Update.
This day will also see Actual Experience (ACT) holding a General Meeting to pass the recent £10m Placing issue to institutional investors. Kevin Ashton at N+1 Singer reckons that the story of this analytics company is worth getting to know.
E-sports and new technology investor Blue Star Capital (BLU) recently announced an excellent set of results for 2020. This day sees the company hold its AGM which should be of interest to analyst Ed Stacey at Proactive Research.

Research Tree Comment:
When Mattioli Woods (MTW) announced its first half Trading Update, a month ago, analyst Andrew Watson at N+1 Singer considered that now that the group has broken through the £10bn AUM milestone, its shares are deserving of a premium rating.
Andrew Darley at finnCap reckons that the shares of tech hardware and equipment group Amino Technologies (AMO) are undervalued and overlooked, providing opportunities for both income and capital growth.
Electronic equipment designer and maker discoverIE (DSCV) is announcing its Q3 Update on this day. Analyst Katherine Thompson at Edison Investment Research, in early December last year, reduced its forecast due to the lockdowns, however she did note upon the company’s management confidence in its outlook.

Research Tree Comment:
Peter Smedley an analyst at finnCap views the acceleration of the recapitalisation at Mothercare (MTC) as a positive event, and that the group is continuing to hold up well, relative to the tough market backdrop in several of its franchisee territories.
Shailesh Raikundlia, analyst at Liberum Capital, is very positive about Ramsdens Holdings (RFX), stating that the group has a diversified income stream, a strong management team and a trusted board. He expects a strong rebound in profits once the market normalises.

Research Tree Comment:
Analyst Amandeep Goyal at AlphaValue Research considers that holdings in the shares of AstraZeneca (AZN) should be reduced, even though the group’s recent acquisition of Alexion was an immediate earnings accretive deal.
Nik Lysiuk at finnCap considers the shares of S&U (SUS) to be a Buy. He noted that the finance group saw a strong recovery in both its motor finance and property bridging business between August and December last year. He feels that there may well be upward pressure as details of its full-year results are announced.
Wayne Brown at Liberum Capital reckons that Ted Baker (TED) is delivering on its promises and is outperforming on its cash flow. He sees progress being made across all areas during the group’s transformation strategy.
Nishant Choudhary at AlphaValue Research stated that Tesco (TSCO), having reported a Q3 Trading Update in the middle of last month, showed that it was staying ahead of the curve. Online sales were a key growth engine to the strong performance. He concludes that the shares are an Add, offering a 19.3% upside. This day’s General Meeting is to approve the Special Dividend and associated Share Consolidation.

Producer of speciality graphene nanoplatelet dispersions Applied Graphene Materials (AGM) is holding a General Meeting on this day, for shareholders to approve the recent £5.5m fundraising. In a QuickView comment late last month analyst Anne Crow at Edison Investment Research considered that because the group has only recently started to commercialise its products, and that the sector generally is at an early stage of evolution, it is still too early to take a view, thereby precluding a valuation.
Andrew Bell from Red Rock Resources (RRR) in an interview broadcast by Proactive towards the end of December, explained how his expertise in Africa can help the company to seize an opportunity with regard to the 3.2m ounces of gold at the Adidi-Kanga project. The group is holding its AGM for its end June 2020 annual results on this day.
