Yesterday, Omai Gold Mines (OMG:TSXV, OMGGF:OTC) reported new assay results from Wenot, including a new high-grade discovery at West Wenot: 2.63 g/t Au over 27.5m, including 4.68 g/t over 9.5m (Hole 25ODD-116). This zone lies ~100m north of any previously defined mineralization and outside the 2024 MRE, highlighting strong lateral growth potential. At the same time, drilling continues at Hole 25ODD-122, a 1,800–2,000m hole drilled through the Gilt Creek deposit towards Wenot at depths of 1,100–1,200m, ~600m below the current resource. Together, these updates demonstrate meaningful expansion potential both laterally and at depth. We are maintaining our BUY rating and $0.80/share target price on Omai Gold Mines.
