At an extraordinary shareholder’s meeting held today, it has been decided that two units of the Oskarsham nuclear reactor in Sweden will be definitively closed. The decision was previously taken by E.On as it holds a majority stake (54.5%), with Fortum holding the remainder (45.5%). The decision for the advance closure for units 1 and 2 should have a negative one-off impact on net profit of €700m, booked in 2015, as the reactors would be closed before their planned operational life
