The French media regulator (CSA) announced that it would finally authorise TF1 to migrate its pay-TV channel LCI (an about €8m loss-making operation in FY14) to free-to-air. As a reminder, the CSA, which refused to allow LCI to switch to FTA in July 2014, saw its initial decision overturned earlier this year by the State Council (for procedural error…).
