A new pay deal and pension contract has been signed with the carrier’s 19,000 cabin crew members and the union also accepts the employment contract for Lufthansa’s budget airline Eurowings. Management believes that the new deal will limit additions to provisions almost immediately but that genuine cost savings will start in 2023.
