EDP has reached an agreement with Vortex to sell a 49% equity shareholding stake in a portfolio of 664MW of renewable fully-owned wind onshore assets. Vortex is a fund led by EFG-Hermes, which includes investments from the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC); in other words, it is the renewable platform managed by the Egyptian bank’s equity arm.
