Fraport had asked for approval of a 1.9% fee increase in Frankfurt as of January 2016 but the authorities of the State of Hesse have indicated that its calculations were wrong. According to Fraport’s ad-hoc release, the cost of capital translated into the discrepancy. The airport operator will make some recalculations. It is still open as to whether a new application will come on time for a January 2016 increase.
