In Q2 15, ElringKlinger started serial production of combined metal-polymer components for a German premium car producer. We believe it is Daimler which apparently uses these components for its C-class. The two have now agreed that ElringKlinger can also supply other clients with these components, i.e. Daimler seems to have been the owner of the licence. The existing contract is worth €120m over a period of five years.
The production method brings together the technique of metal-based hydrofo ....
