Swedish Stirling’s planned carbon-offsetting preference share issue has been given support by three major investors. These include Glencore who have signed for 10MW of the company’s PWR BLOK waste gas to energy units for deployment in South Africa. The support cornerstones the issue of the shares and a decision to issue is expected in the current quarter at the earliest. The move provides clear financial support for the deployment of the company’s technology which we think will help to build early traction.
