The company confirmed yesterday the closure of its Yate facility near Bristol and the transfer of certain employees and equipment to Barnsley. The restructuring and possible closure was flagged by an announcement on 14 October. The group will gain from a lower overhead base and improved operating efficiencies, with the expansion of night shifts at Barnsley and better usage of transferred equipment.
