eEnergy delivered another period of strong progress in H1’22, completing the acquisition of UtilityTeam to add scale to its Energy Management business, whilst launching the My ZeERO metering and data analytics business and completing its first solar project. Headline financials were pre-announced in January’s trading update (revenue of £9.6m, EBITDA £0.8m) and the focus now is on the outlook for H2 in the context of an extremely volatile energy market environment. Whilst this inevitably creates some short term headwinds, it undoubtedly increases the urgency for businesses to implement their Net Zero plans (in terms of waste reduction and renewable energy adoption). Although mindful of market uncertainties, the Board expects to trade in line with expectations. Management remains highly ambitious to add further breadth to the offering in metering, solar and EV charging and we are confident in the continued delivery of the Group’s strategic objectives.
