SMS has announced a solid trading update, with underlying EBITDA and PBT marginally ahead of forecasts, mainly driven by a “well ahead of Board expectations” performance of the Burwell grid-scale battery project and the annual meter rental RPI indexation on 1 April 2022 (4.3%).
