Xaar has announced the appointment of Professor Neil Hopkinson to a new role as Director of 3D Printing. The Professor is an industry heavy hitter, the original inventor of high speed sintering (HSS) with extensive experience of additive manufacturing. His role at Xaar will be to continue development of this technology, which uses Xaar print heads, and help accelerate its adoption for volume manufacturing.
