Big Technologies has reached full and final settlement of the Buddi Litigation, having agreed to pay £38.5m cash to the Claimants. This is broadly in line with the company’s estimate, will be comfortably financed from existing cash resources, and more importantly: brings closure and hence removes associated uncertainty. Meanwhile BIG’s claim against Sara Murray remains ongoing and here, a range of possible outcomes are still possible. Nevertheless, we are encouraged by today’s news, as it brings the company one step closer to solid ground.
