Reabold has announced a significant regulatory milestone for the West Newton gas field, as the Environment Agency (EA) has issued a permit variation allowing for recompletion works at the West Newton A-2 well, with the aim of establishing sustained cash flow. Success could see the early monetisation of natural gas at West Newton via the conversion of natural gas to electricity to power on-site data centres, generating revenue from bitcoin production.
