Pulsar announced that it achieved encouraging flowrates from the deepened Jetstream-1 well on the Topaz Helium discovery in Minnesota. The well achieved a peak natural flowrate of approximately 500 mcf/day of gas compared to a rate of 150 mcf/day at the original shallow discovery well – representing over a threefold increase. This is exciting news for investors as it demonstrates the increased productivity of the reservoir. It also demonstrates that the earlier problem, of drilling fines and dust restricting flows, is able to be fixed. This should news significantly de-risks the Topaz Development.
