Switch Metals (formerly Oneiro Energy) plc is an emerging play on critical metals which have application in high-technology and advanced engineering. Based on a large acreage in Côte d’Ivoire covering three core projects, Switch has the potential to establish a major critical metals presence. The key areas of exposure are tantalum, lithium and niobium. Côte d’Ivoire is a significant gold producer and is prospective for pegmatite mineral hosted critical metals. In adjacent Mali and Ghana, which have similar geology, three lithium mines are at an advanced stage of development. Across the licences there is extensive evidence of critical metal bearing minerals.
