Alien today reports an Exploration Target of 12 to 27 million tonnes grading between 58% and 62% iron at its flagship Hancock iron ore project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Located in the recently acquired tenements at Hancock, the Exploration Target is additive to the previously reported resource (4.5Mt grading 60.2% iron) and, if proven, will enhance the economics of the proposed direct shipping operation (DSO) at Hancock.
