Following the publication of press marketing, Cambridge is able to disclose it is collaborating with Oura, the maker of the world’s leading smart ring, to pair its scientifically validated digital cognitive assessments with Oura’s continuous physiological data, to offer users a more holistic and complete insight into their health and how this tracks over time. Conducted through Oura Labs, an innovation platform within the Oura App, this will be COG’s largest ever study: involving >40k participants (demonstrating Oura’s investment in the project) and hence a full commercial rollout could ensue though there is no firm commitment, yet. As such, the real takeaway from today’s isn’t the contract value (which we understand isn’t significant) but rather what this could mean going forward both with Oura and other B2C wearable companies, as this burgeoning market looks to add cognitive testing, which COG is very well positioned to provide, as a tried and tested vendor.
