On March 13, 2025, Cadrenal Therapeutics, Inc. (CVKD) announced financial results for 2024 and provided a business update. The company has been laying the groundwork for a Phase 3 trial of tecarfarin in patients with left ventricular assist devices (LVAD). In support of this, Cadrenal recently announced a collaboration agreement with Abbott to support the planned TECarfarin Anticoagulation and Hemocompatibility with Left Ventricular Assist Devices (TECH-LVAD) trial. Following a Type D meeting with the FDA in February 2025, the agency has requested that the company provide a full study design synopsis and detailed clinical trial design for review.
