For example, the data show that Gen Z adults - arguably more predisposed than many demographics to leveraging technology to help with caregiving - carry a disproportionately heavy burden, reporting that caregiving cuts into their job performance. This compares to 44% of Millennials and 45% of Gen X reporting this issue. 50% of Gen Z'ers report that caregiving has damaged their personal relationships, compared to 41% of Millennials and 38% of Gen X. The aging of the population is expected to drive demand for technology services that can help people remain independent, improve their quality of life.
