The Mello Team are pleased to announce a bonus day at MelloVirtual - Investing in the New World, now to be held on Friday 10th July from 11am to 4pm and Saturday 11th July from 9am to 5 pm. This is due to overwhelming demand created by ticket sales from delegates and also event space required by companies wishing to take part.
All delegates will be given passes to join on the Friday as well as the Saturday. Effectively, we are giving our loyal Mello followers a bonus day at no extra charge. In addition, our early bird offer of half price tickets using code MV20975 has been extended until Friday 19th June, but they will run out as we only have 120 available.
MelloVirtual will consist of high quality keynote speakers and panel sessions plus lots of educational seminars available to view on the day and for up to a month after the event. There will be over 50 company presentations with live Q&A and very engaging live panel sessions which will only be available for participation on the day of the event via zoom, as well as lots of specialist investors for you to engage and share pearls of wisdom with.
Attending will be a large number of small to mid-cap sized growth and a number of Investment Companies that want to present to our very diverse and engaged Mello investors including Avation, GetBusy, Polar Capital, Fidelity, International Biotechnology Trust, Harbourvest, Polar Capital, Open Orphan, Alliance Trust, Caledonia Mining, Newmark, Cambridge Cognition, Zotefoams, Trackwise Designs and IG.
Our keynote speakers will include Peter Pereira Gray of The Wellcome Trust who is the investment head of the largest charitable trust in Europe. He will talk about the investing challenges presented by Covid-19 and those that still lie ahead. With his first presentation at Mello, we are introducing Andrew Vaughan who manages Free Spirit Fund part of Sanford Deland Asset Management. Andrew is No.1 over three years in the IA UK All Companies sector. We will also have Alex Denny of Fidelity for the first time at one of our events and he will talk about investing in this new economic reality, together with John Baron, John Rosier and Jonathan Davis. The very popular Mello Bash from our physical event will be held as a final session on the Friday and include all the well-known investors such as Leon Boros and Paul Scott.
Mello is renowned for its networking and community engagement and is normally about larger scale events where quality companies get to meet and present to serious and engaged investors, so that is what we are now preparing to provide virtually online. We have tried to make the interface and platform look and feel like our physical Mello investor events with lots of opportunity for interaction and networking between both delegates and companies. To achieve this, we have provided a Mello Members Lounge and Company Club Lounge to enable interaction with the keynote speakers, esteemed investors, company directors and fund managers.
