Anglesey Mining PLC (LSE:AYM) chief executive Jo Battershill joins Proactive at Mines & Money in London to discuss the new reboot of a North Welsh mining story.
The company is engaged in exploring and developing its Parys Mountain Project in north Wales which hosts polymetallic zinc, copper, lead, silver, and gold deposits.
In Wales, the company has recently met town and city councils which showed "genuine community support for what [its] trying to do," according to Battershill.
The new iteration of the Parys Mountain proposition comes with momentum, gathered in the broader electric vehicle and decarbonisation story.
And, a global push for the electrification and decarbonisation of the global economy just won’t be possible without more copper, Battershill highlighted.
