Anglo Pacific Group PLC (LSE:APF, TSX:APY, OTC:AGPIF) chief executive Julian Treger joined Proactive at Mines & Money 2021 to discuss the commodities within its portfolio of royalties.
Coal had traditionally been its core but recently the company has transitioned away to 75% battery metals plus "other future-facing materials like cobalt".
Cobalt, which is "perhaps the best performing commodity," has seen its price more than double this year.
"I don't think the market understands yet how significant the rise in coking coal and cobalt prices are for the company," Treger said.
Based on that, Anglo is on course "to have a record fourth quarter," Treger revealed.
