Cornish Metals Inc (AIM:CUSN, TSX-V:CUSN, OTC:SBWFF) CEO Richard Williams speaks to Stephen Gunnion from Proactive on latest developments at the company's South Crofty tin mine in Cornwall.
Following the completion of the water treatment plant in October, the company has successfully de-watered the mine, reaching a depth of 220 meters. Williams outlined the upcoming milestones, including reaching the 195-fathom level pump station by March and installing a new pump station.
The company aims to restart the mine by the end of 2026, with ongoing activities such as refurbishing shafts, underground development, and a feasibility study for bar infill drilling.
Williams expressed confidence in tin's resilience, noting a floor price of around $24,000-$25,000 per tonne, aligning with the company's production goals amid positive market dynamics.
The CEO highlighted a 9,000-meter drill program targeting a new discovery, the Wide Formation, showcasing the company's commitment to growth.
