Deepverge's Gerry Brandon (LON:DVRG) joins Proactive London to discuss the deployment of its Microtox PD near-source wastewater contamination test equipment into water treatment plants in Ireland. With the first shipments to China and the US expected by the end of the year.
Brandon begins by mentioning the rationale behind the Modern Water acquisition before explaining Microtox PD.
Microtox PD are DeepVerge's real time wastewater contamination detection units which can detect pathogens in wastewater. He believes Microtox PD can identify COVID-19 hotspots through the wastewater.
And Microtox BT which are their real-time COVID-19 breath tests, and they have agreed to license a patented breathalyser from PulMoBioMed Limited (“PBM”), a spin-out technology company of Northumbria University.
