Eden Research PLC's (LON:EDEN) Sean Smith joins Proactive London's Katie Pilbeam to talk through the authorisation from Italian regulators to sell its Cedroz pesticide in the country.
Cedroz is designed to control free living nematodes, parasitic worms that cause severe damage to crops in fields and greenhouses.
The deal has been steered by their commercial collaborator, Eastman Chemical Company in Italy which is the EU's second-largest producer of fruit and vegetables.
Smith says they are now 'very eager' to get authorization for both Cedroz and their other flagship product bio-fungicide Mevalone in the US, which is the largest market.
