Anthony Ginsberg, CEO of GinsGlobal Index Fund, discussed the performance and outlook of the GinsGlobal Tech Megatrend ETF with Proactive’s Steve Darling, highlighting the fund’s recent success and the potential for accelerated growth following Donald Trump’s re-election.
Ginsberg expressed optimism for tech sector expansion, with Trump’s anticipated policy adjustments expected to relax antitrust regulations. "We’re optimistic about fewer restrictions on mergers and acquisitions for big tech companies, which could boost sector growth and investment," he shared. Ginsberg pointed out that the ETF’s holdings in cloud computing and social media have already benefitted, noting recent earnings reports from industry giants Google and Microsoft, each posting cloud revenue increases exceeding 30%.
With the Federal Reserve indicating possible interest rate cuts, he foresees a sustained tech rally into 2024. Looking ahead, Ginsberg anticipates heightened M&A activity, especially in automation and robotics, as firms shift more manufacturing to the U.S., aligning with potential policy changes.
